Description
The Behavior Technician is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Behavior Support plan developed for individuals with ID/DD across multiple locations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: - Participate in the assessments of individuals receiving support services at CFSNJ locations as assigned. - Monitoring the implementation of individual behavior support plans, behavior contracts, interaction guidelines and similar. - Maintain all records in an accurate, organized, and timely manner. - Act as a liaison to any family member, provider agency, medical or behavioral health practitioner or federal/state representative; always representing CFSNJ's philosophy and standards for excellent service. - To ensure the timely collection of data and any associated paperwork necessary to document services rendered. This will include but is not limited to electronic data collection and attendance, Daily Logs/Training Records, Behavioral Charts, and/or any documents associated with Behavior Support Services as mandated by NJ DDD. - Responsible for essential duties as described across multiple sites. - To work closely and cooperatively with other members of the CFS clinical team, CFS Administrative team, and consultants to ensure proper coordination of services. - The employee will cooperate with The Center for Family Support management and/or DDD staff in any inspection or investigation. Qualifications: - At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities - High school diploma/GED - At least 3 years experience working in the Human Service field |
