"I can succeed as a Digital Workplace Engineer IV" We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Workplace Engineer IV to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Enterprise Windows administration, Active Directory, Group Policies, security, enterprise tooling, performance analysis, endpoint management, scripting/automation, Digital User Experience (DEX) tooling, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. As a member of the End User Computing (EUC) Engineering team, you are instrumental in enterprise solution design, integration, implementation, and support to provide stable, reliable and productive user experiences. Responsibilities:
- System Administration: Manage and maintain Enterprise Windows environment, including installation, configuration, and patch management
- Active Directory: AD objects/OUs, security settings, Directory Services, and management of Group Policies
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of Windows-based systems
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Windows systems and applications
- Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect Windows environments from threats and vulnerabilities
- Backup and Recovery: Develop and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of system architectures, system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to support and integrate Windows systems with other technologies
Ideal candidate should have:
- A strong service orientation with a can-do attitude, adaptive to change with a real passion for the End User Computing technology space
- Demonstrated systems engineering mindset with the ability to apply a systematic approach to problem solving, driven by data and understanding tradeoffs
- Solution development experience demonstrating elements of rigor, design, operational oversight and accountability for products owned and operated
- In depth knowledge of End User Computing technologies:
- End user operating environments (Windows, MacOS, mobile)
- Strong knowledge of automation scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
- Productivity tools (Office 365, Adobe products, AI)
- Systems management tools (SCCM/MCM, JAMF, Workspace One, or InTune)
- Desktop Virtualization (Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, VMware/Omnissa Horizon, or Citrix)
- Endpoint Detection, Response, Security, Privileged Management (Crowdstrike, CyberArk, Microsoft Defender)
- Network configuration (TCP/IP, firewall, proxy, virtual networks)
- Digital User Experience (DEX) insight
- In depth knowledge of concepts, procedures, and techniques for using and supporting End User Computing devices in an enterprise environment:
- Technology product & Software development lifecycle management, from cradle to grave
- Root cause analysis and Problem solving
- Data analytics, using tools such as Windows Performance Analyzer, Procmon, Perfmon, Windows Debug
- Vendor & License management
- Service management (Incident/Problem/Change)
- Agile methodology and rituals
- Endpoint automation
- Strong listening, reasoning, facilitation, and objection handling skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and possess excellent time management skills
- Effective communications with all levels of leadership, and proven record of successful projects, in partnership with business stakeholders
- Experience managing performance of technical resources

Southern California Base Salary Range: $153,965-$246,344
San Antonio Base Salary Range: $126,573-$202,517
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
