Job Description:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management or relevant field of study preferred
Work Experiences:
- 7+ years of retail operations or merchandising experience required
- Product merchandising experience preferred
- Business continuity planning and execution preferred
- Previous experience understanding Floor Plans and Planograms

Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of an assigned merchandise category, providing comprehensive feedback and insight into planograms, floor plans, visual and signage, fixtures, merchandising, price changes and inventory transfers on behalf of stores organization
- Collaborate with Risk Management and other corporate stakeholders to ensure business continuity during both anticipated and unexpected service interruptions
- Collaborate with specific corporate partners and the stores to drive, activate and improve the Hot Market initiatives
- Manage the In-Store Services and 3rd party vendor relationships
- Partner with corporate departments to provide stores with complete, timely and informative directives on all merchandise related tasks and projects for multiple or expansive product categories
- Gather feedback from stores regarding merchandise execution task and merchandising opportunities
- Manage the in-store execution of POG sets and develop post mortems for all major seasonal sets
- Lead directly and indirectly to drive sales through leadership, providing direction and constant coaching
- Provide stores with details to drive core and seasonal POG sets and in-store initiatives
- Partner with corporate and store teams regarding initiatives to drive sales, control costs and improve customer experience
- Participate in coordinating merchandising tasks for special projects tied to specific product categories
- Collaborate with stores, merchants and other departments to improve future merchandising execution
- Regularly evaluate and adjust current processes in partnership with the larger Store Operations team
- Execute weekly business reviews through analysis of specific product categories
- Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures and safety rules
- Responsibilities may change; team members may be required to perform other tasks as assigned
