DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Administrative Assistant 1 in the Bureau of Vehicle Management (BVM), you will make determinations regarding vehicle maintenance and repair while ensuring that proper vehicle operation is followed. This includes determining best cost savings measures when approving or denying repair or maintenance to the commonwealth's automotive fleet and Identifying monies available. You will maintain and coordinate vehicle operations to ensure that all warranty requirements are being met. Additional responsibilities to include maintaining and updating BVM Fleet Management System (M5), inputting repair information and other data, and ensuring all vehicle records are properly maintained and filed in accordance with BVM policies and procedures. You will have the opportunity to receive, research, and respond to telephone requests, complaints and inquiries. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, and will be available after successful completion of training program with one day a month in office required. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
