Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer Financial Systems Modernization with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 24+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Consult on complex, broad-impact software engineering initiatives, contributing to long-term planning and strategic execution Analyze and resolve multi-faceted software engineering challenges, considering various factors including intangibles and unprecedented circumstances Collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables and ensure project success Contribute to the development and modernization of financial systems, including ProfitView Work on full-stack development, focusing on financial attribution, SCD, data aggregation, data quality, and system of record sourcing of data Implement data processing and transformation processes using tools like Pyspark and Dremio Ensure the alignment of data-related solutions with financial business objectives Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent experience (work, consulting, training, military, or education) Experience with full-stack development in financial systems Strong expertise in Pyspark, ETL processes, and Dremio Knowledge of financial systems, data aggregation, and financial attribution Experience working with data quality engines and system of record data sourcing Ability to work strategically and consult with stakeholders on large-scale software engineering projects Pay Range: $60-70 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
