Your Team, Your Impact

As a Senior Staff Test Engineer with Marvell, you'll be a member of the board Operations Engineering team located in Irvine, California. Your job duties would include production test software development and validation, collaboration with other board development teams and support of our manufacturing partner(s) for the production testing of new and existing board products.

What You Can Expect

  • Design, develop, and implement test procedures for electronic circuit boards.

  • Conduct functional and performance testing on electronic components and systems.

  • Collaborate with remote manufacturing team to ensure seamless integration of test processes in the production line.

  • Analyze test data, identify issues, provide solutions to improve product quality and reliability.

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using programming languages such as Python, C++, BASH. Visual Studio C or .NET, MS-Access or SQL database experience, design of custom scripting, knowledge of Linux operating systems.

  • Troubleshoot and debug electronic circuits and test equipment.

  • Document test results, create detailed reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in electronic testing methodologies.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field and minimum 5 years related experience

  • Proven experience in electronic testing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in New Product Introduction, internal processes and procedures.

  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, Bill of Material (BOM), etc.

  • Proficiency in programming languages and Linux operating systems.

  • Strong understanding of electronic circuit design and testing principles.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

122,700 - 181,600, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
