The opportunity Michelin has an immediate opening for a plant accountant based who contributes to the success of the manufacturing site by providing financial expertise to support our production systems processes and projects. The plant Accountant is responsible for analyzing financial data and preparing reports; you will report to the Site Controller with all related accounting activities. This opening is in Plattsburgh, NY. We specialize in off-road rubber tracks & track systems for the power-sports industry. Our high-performance products are specially designed to meet the unique mobility needs of the off-highway vehicle market. Recognized by leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and distributed to the aftermarket industry through a global distribution network. What you will do Compliance of GL entries and transactions with Group Michelin and local norms, function allocation rules and standard processes. Reconcile accounts and justification before reviewers, internal and external auditors, and internal controllers. Closing transactions, program and reporting operated in compliance with monthly closing calendar and world class quality levels Assist with preparing the yearly budget for the plant. Assist in month-end close and financial review. Follow Company Policies and Procedures Guarantee the application of Michelin Group principles within their entity; respect of the financial standards (Internal Control and standards from the Director of Finance and performance departments) What you will bring
