Position Title: Production
Wage: $16.75/hour Shift: Swing Hours: 12:30pm-11pm Monday-Thursday Want 3-day weekends and good pay? We've got the perfect opportunity for you! A local food facility is NOW HIRING dependable Production Workers for a Monday to Thursday schedule-hello long weekends! Enjoy competitive wages while working in a fast-paced environment. Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assist in the distribution of food products by sorting, weighing, repackaging, cooking, or bottling products - Focus on producing quality products in an efficient, effective manner - Sort food to customer specifications including weight - Pack bags or bottles into boxes, sealing boxes, palletizing, and shrink wrapping - Report food and quality issues to personnel with authority to initiate action - Read recipe, gather appropriate ingredients, and cook in kettle stirring as needed - Debone meat before being cooled - Unpack bottles and place on the line to be filled - Place lid on bottles and twist before machine labels - Keep work area clean Production Requirements: - Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours daily - Must be able to work in the cold 32-37 degrees for cooler line, must be able to work in HOT environment for kitchen/bottling - Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, and squat - Must be able to pinch and grasp with fingers and hands throughout shift - Must be able to lift 10lbs-65lbs pending position in department QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
