Position Summary:

As an expert in the areas of continuous improvement, this role leads and supports Benco Continuous Improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Responsibilities include helping with ideation (intake of improvement ideas), leading improvement initiatives across multiple departments and process owners, continued development of the continuous improvement toolkit, be a champion of change management, and develop and deliver lean training programs.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?



  • Be a self-directed change agent able to implement new initiatives across multiple departments in a systemic way, delivering substantial impact to the overall organization.
  • Leverage Lean and Six Sigma, where appropriate, and project management methodologies to identify process Improvement opportunities to reduce waste, increase value, and improve the customer and employee experience.
  • Conducts targeted process improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events, working with process owners and project team members through all phases of planning, implementation, and control to deliver measurable and sustainable process improvements.
  • Works with stakeholders to ensure process improvement initiatives achieve intended results, risks are proactively identified and mitigated, and benefits are validated.
  • Designs, develops, maintains, and conducts training on Continuous Improvement principles, techniques, and tools to inspire a culture of Continuous Improvement throughout the organization to help associates solve problems, generate efficiency ideas, and adapt to change.
  • Identifies best practices within and outside of the company and serves as a conduit for best practice sharing.
  • Influences stakeholders to encourage process change with the ability to handle conflict while being tactful and diplomatic.


Do YOU Meet These Requirements?



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related
  • Live within 1 hour of Pittston, PA for onsite work
  • 1-3 years previous experience leading process change projects related to the implementation and use of Lean Six Sigma process improvement required
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from an accredited Lean or Six Sigma program
