Your Team, Your Impact

As the Senior Principal Insider Threat Program Lead at Marvell Semiconductor, you will spearhead a comprehensive insider threat program, collaborating with cross-functional teams including Cybersecurity, Physical Security, Legal, Human Resources, and Engineering. Your leadership will be pivotal in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with employee and contractor access, encompassing accidental and negligent actions, unwitting accomplices, and willful insiders intent on causing harm or benefiting at the company's expense. By partnering with engineering and business leaders, you will gain a deep understanding of Marvell's critical data and processes, devising controls and procedures to protect and respond to potential risks inherent in the semiconductor industry.

What You Can Expect

  • Program Development and Management: Design, implement, and manage Marvell's Insider Threat Program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to identify potential insider threats, analyzing patterns and behaviors that may indicate risk.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce policies, procedures, and controls aimed at mitigating insider threats.
  • Monitoring and Detection: Develop and utilize advanced tools and methodologies to monitor activity, detect anomalies, and investigate potential insider risks.
  • Insider Risk Mitigation: Assess areas where insider risk could materialize, and recommend process and technical controls to reduce the likelihood and impact of those risks.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs for employees and contractors on insider threat awareness and promote a culture of security vigilance.
  • Incident Response: Support investigations into suspected insider threat incidents, in coordination with relevant departments including legal and HR, to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends to continuously enhance the Insider Threat Program.

What We're Looking For

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, with at least 3 years focused on insider threat management within the semiconductor or technology industry. Should have a working knowledge of multiple disciplines within cybercrime, fraud, hacktivism, third party risks, extremist groups and cyber terrorism.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, insider threat detection tools, DLP and UEBA technologies, and data loss prevention technologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets to identify potential security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to diverse audiences including both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change to enhance security posture.
  • Ethical Judgment: High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

148,630 - 222,700, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
