About the McGrath Outpatient Pavilion: Located in Hillcrest, the McGrath Outpatient Pavilion is a state-of-the-art, 250,000-square-foot medical facility designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of our region. Spanning six floors, this advanced facility is home to key clinical programs and offers specialized diagnostic, treatment, and surgical services. With a strong emphasis on cancer care, we are committed to delivering world-class medical services in a patient-centered environment. DESCRIPTIONProvide technical, patient care and clerical support to technologists/radiologists by scheduling procedures, processing radiographs, transporting patients/preparing for radiographic procedures, preparing radiographs for interpretation, downloading outside CD's into the Picture Archival Computer System (PACS), operates film digitizing equipment, CD burners, document scanners and similar accessories. Demonstrates knowledge of computers and new technology such as PACS, Computerized Radiography (CR) and Digital Radiographs (DR). Demonstrates knowledge of various imaging procedures to prepare patients and equipment. Contributes to the cost containment of maintaining established par levels with film orders, office supplies, forms, linen and other medical supplies. Contributes to and participates in work organization and scheduling selection, training and evaluation of staff as a member of work team. Participates in cross training to obtain seamless operations within the Imaging Department. Working knowledge of Radiology Information System (RIS), Hospital Information System (HIS), computers and medical terminology preferred. Additionally, be responsible for advanced technical tasks such as Quality Control, Performance Improvement activities, Safety Officer and/or Radioactive waste. This includes staff development and training. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $54,664 - $67,944 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $26.18 - $32.54 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
