Job Description:Working within the Outpatient Specialty Center, the Call Center Representative promptly answers all incoming phone calls, addresses patient inquiries as needed, and routes calls to the appropriate person or department.

Education:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent - Required

Experience:

  • Previous experience with heavy phone volume- Required

Additional Experience:

  • 1 year of Clerical or Front Desk experience in a Medical Office/Hospital - Preferred

License/Certification:

  • Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Administrative Medical Assistant - Preferred

  • Epic - Proficiency must be passed within 90 days of Start Date- Required

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively written and orally.

  • Ability to deal diplomatically with all types of individuals under stressful situations.

  • Ability to work with the public in a professional courteous manner.

  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA and JMH patient information policies and procedures.

  • Complies with regulations in document handling and transmission of patient information.

Work Shift:08.0 - 08:30 - 17:30 No Waive (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$25.99 - $35.09 Hourly
Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
