Business Development Manager

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team at our corporate office in Somerville, MA.

We are looking for a highly motivated, data-driven individual responsible for generating and closing new business, building long-term client relationships, and leveraging industry knowledge to deliver tailored solutions in the environmental services sector. This role requires a proactive approach to sales-drawing on industry connections and market insights to drive growth-while ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

This is ahybrid position based out of ourSomerville, MA office.

Responsibilities:

• Originate and close repeat and reoccurring new business.
• Follow market and industry developments to network with like-minded companies.
• Network with similar-minded sales professionals to find referrals and introductions to prospective customers.
• Cold call new prospective companies that match our profile.
• Learnto sell all service lines offered by Triumvirate Environment.
• Utilize Triumvirate's internal CRM system.
• Maintaina high level of sales activity in an assigned region.
• Attend industry trade expos & conventions and similar networking events.
• Utilize your experience with RCRA and OSHA regulations to develop rapport and trust with customers and prospects.
• Work towards becoming familiar with technical, customer service,and business components of environmental services.
• Place value on building long-term, customer-intimate relationships with clients.
• WOW! Triumvirate's internal and external customers!

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science or Environmental Studies.
• 3+ years previous sales experience, preferably within theEnvironmental Services industry.
• Experience selling services into the Industrial Manufacturing and/or Life Sciences markets.
• Familiarity with consultative sales techniques.
• Direct selling experience into Life Sciences (Biotech, Pharmaceuticals), Higher Education, Advanced Manufacturing, or Healthcare industries.
• Basic knowledge of or desire to learn the environmental services field.
• Must be a self-starter and have a sense of urgency to close business.
• Regional travel and overnights may be required.
• Valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
  
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
