We are looking for aPrincipal Advisor - Asset Management who will lead Asset Management process improvement initiatives partnering with our Product Groups and sites. The role is aiming to increase AM capability at our sites by coaching people to apply AM processes in their operating context, ensuring that resources have the skills, knowledge and tools to perform their roles effectively, and replicate optimal performance. Reporting to theCoaching Manager, Americas, Europe & Africain a collaborative community within theGroup Asset Managementteam, you will:
- Lead Asset Management Capability Uplift initiatives in close partnership with Product Groups and sites
- Provide guidance and coach leadership teams on implementation of asset management processes and procedures
- Support and work with sites to perform AM diagnostics and process maturity assessments
- Support sites with the development of asset management improvement plans to enable the delivery of their Strategic Asset Management Plans
- Partner with sites to embed and or replicate leading asset management practice/s
- Close collaboration with RTSPS teams to deliver our Best Operator objectives
- Provide Asset Management leadership training
- Select and manage Improvement Partners (external resources) to support Asset Management Uplifts
- Collaborate with the Process Ownership team to ensure fit-for-purpose AM processes and tools
What you'll bring
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Asset Management, Processing, Maintenance and Operation, Business Analysis or other relevant discipline
- Extensive experience and knowledge of the different Asset Management elements
- Demonstrated experience in implementing/executing/embedding Asset Management improvement initiatives
- Practical experience in at least one Asset Management Discipline (maintenance planning, reliability engineering, maintenance supervision, etc)
- Excellent influencing, communication and collaboration skills, with strong ability to liaise with external and internal stakeholders effectively
- Strong ability to adapt to different site contexts
- Willingness to travel and be self-motivated.
It will also be beneficial if you have:
- 7+ years of proven leadership experience with high influencing and negotiation skills
- International experience and ideally knowledge of multiple commodities fixed plant/HME/ports/rails/power asset etc
