Shift Supervisor Hines IL Pay From $65,000/yr MUST : Eligible for Public Trust At least 2+ years of experience in supervisory role in a warehouse logistics operations environment Proficient in procedural and material management functions, this includes: receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and transportation Strong understanding and experience with time management Familiarity with OSHA requirements and other health/safety requirements for warehouse operations Familiarity with ordering systems, logistical equipment (auto-baggers, pallet jacks, forklifts) Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Strong attention to detail and highly analytical Strong interpersonal skills and ability to de-escalate and resolve conflicts amicably Bachelor's Degree or Trade school experience is preferred DUTIES : Ideal candidate will provide overall supervision for employees ensuring that work is scheduled properly to maximize resource allocation Ensure accurate and timely reports are submitted to the Program Manager Supervise to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of services Perform quality control actions to ensure work is done properly and on schedule Oversee inventory (accurate and discrepancy) documenting gains and losses, storage and distribution of a variety of materials, durable medical equipment and commodities using automated and manual material moving equipment Be responsible for inventory integrity of Government-owned mission stock Plan the use of equipment, facilities, and materials based on workload projections on a weekly and monthly basis Establishes deadlines, prioritizes, work sequences, general work schedules, methods, and policies Accommodate workload changes due to surges and fluctuations Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
