Langley Federal Credit Union has proudly served members since 1936, offering financial solutions to help individuals and families reach their goals. This summer, we're excited to launch our first 10-week Summer 2025 Internship Program-an opportunity for motivated college juniors and seniors to gain hands-on experience in the financial industry. Full Time (40 hours/week) attendance will be required, on site in Newport News, VA, from Monday June 2 - Friday August 8.

Internship Overview

The Member Experience Intern will be a detail-oriented and analytical individual who will assist in reviewing and analyzing member feedback from various channels, including cases, surveys, reviews, and social media. You will work with data on Primary Checking members, identifying patterns and providing insights into the behavior of members who use Langley intermittently as their primary financial institution. This role involves sifting through large volumes of data, identifying key trends, and presenting findings that will help enhance the overall member experience and guide improvements in service delivery.

Responsibilities



  • Review and analyze member feedback from all channels, identifying common themes, trends, and areas of concern.
  • Review and analyze data on primary checking members, identifying behaviors that cause a swing in participation from month to month.
  • Distinguish between qualitative and quantitative insights, summarizing key takeaways.
  • Highlight both positive feedback and areas needing improvement to support decision-making.
  • Create reports, data visualizations, and summaries to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization, providing insights that can drive process improvements and member engagement strategies.
  • Assist in refining survey questions or methodologies to improve data collection and analysis.


Qualifications



  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Business, Marketing, Sociology, Statistics, or a related field. Required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is required.
