Community Director - Office of Residential Living Georgetown University comprises two unique campuses in the nation's capital. Consistent with our Jesuit identity, the Office of Residential Living provides support, outreach, and continued opportunities for students and staff members to actively engage in social and educational initiatives in order to enhance the pluralistic atmosphere of our community. The Community Director administers the residential program for a campus community housing between 250-700 students. They manage the occupancy, safety, and security of the residential area they oversee. The incumbent is a critical member of Georgetown's Safety Net and works closely with the Georgetown University Police Department and other Student Affairs offices to respond to student emergencies, including mental health crises, facility emergencies, injury and other concerns. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Work Interactions The Community Director supervises the student Resident Assistant team and lead all community development and student formation initiatives. The Community Director provides mediation services to students, supervision to resident assistant staff, developmental guidance to students, and feedback to departmental leadership. On a daily basis, the incumbent schedules student meetings and is readily available to student staff and colleagues. They are expected to communicate in a timely manner with faculty, staff, parents, and others regarding shared concerns about students. The Community Director lives in the assigned residential area and will primarily work in an office or a desk workspace using a university issued laptop computer. Some meetings or events are in other buildings or off campus, with this role being on-call for 24 hours of duty. Requirements and Qualifications

Pay Range: The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $41,926.00 - $65,090.00 Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
