DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will support our culinary and sanitation efforts by preparing and serving food items in accordance with hospital and departmental standards, as well as strict sanitation regulations. Maintaining a clean and safe environment is essential, and you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, cookware, workstations, and other food service areas. Your responsibilities will also include assembling and portioning meal trays, serving food, and delivering trays with care and efficiency. Bring your culinary talents to the table to provide delicious, nutritious meals that not only meet dietary needs but also bring comfort and joy to those we serve.

- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Sunday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Rotating days off, weekends and holidays as assigned
- Overtime: As needed
- May change based on operational needs.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
