Lead Java Full Stack Developer (Hybrid)

Cognizant is looking to hire a motivated and energetic Sr Full Stack Java Developer, with expertise in AWS and Commerce Full Stack Engineering with a strong background in Java. Experience in the Medical Devices domain is a plus. This is a hybrid role.

Job Location: Dallas, TX

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

* Design and develop scalable and robust architecture solutions for our applications using AWS and Java.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.

* Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.

* Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

* Maintain code quality organization and automation.

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

* Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

* Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural decisions and solutions.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.

* Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis design implementation testing and deployment.

* Ensure security and compliance requirements are met for all solutions.

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies.

Key Qualifications:

* 7 + years of hands-on experience

* Possess strong experience in AWS and Commerce Full Stack Engineering with Java.

* Have a solid understanding of architectural patterns and best practices.

* Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Show proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and maintainable solutions.

* Have experience in the Medical Devices domain (nice to have).

* Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.

* Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

* Have a proactive and self-motivated attitude.

* Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

* Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

* Experience with Agile methodologies.

* Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
