Responsibilities

Are you ready to lead a dynamic nursing team while making a real difference in the lives of young adults? As our Nursing Manager Extraordinaire, you'll be the guiding star for our on-site nursing staff, ensuring top-notch care while embodying the mission and core values of Newport Healthcare. Bring your passion for nursing and your flair for leadership to a role where every day is an adventure!

Key Responsibilities:

Team Connector: Be the bridge between our amazing nursing team and the Medical Director/Director of Psychiatry. Your communication skills will shine as you keep everyone in the loop!

Task Delegator: Master the art of delegation! Assign shift-specific tasks to your team to maximize efficiency and ensure that every patient receives stellar care.

Clinical Superhero: Jump into action with 2-4 clinical shifts each month! Whether it's covering for a teammate on vacation or stepping in during busy times, your clinical skills will save the day.

Chart Detective: Put on your detective hat and conduct weekly chart audits! Spot any missing or erroneous documentation and resolve issues faster than a speeding bullet.

Medication Maestro: Review medication error reports and internal incident reports like a pro. Your keen eye will help us maintain the highest standards of safety.

Compliance Champion: Complete all compliance-related nursing documentation and treatment plans with flair. Your attention to detail will keep us on the right track!

Report Wizard: Compile and distribute reports with ease. Your organizational skills will keep everyone informed and ready to take action.

Pharmacy Liaison: Be the go-to person for local pharmacies! Resolve payment issues and communicate with admissions staff to keep everything running smoothly.

Phlebotomy Pro: Show off your phlebotomy skills when ordered by the MD and coordinate with Quest for pickups. You'll be the hero of the lab!

Policy Guardian: Uphold all policies and procedures of Newport Healthcare with pride. Your commitment to excellence will inspire your team!


Qualifications

  • Current RN license in the state in which you are applying required.
  • Minimum of two years of prior nursing experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one year management/supervisory experience preferred.
  • **Pay range for this position is $46.72 to $65.64 depending on education and experience.

An individual's pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.

        • Must pass the applicable state/agency background check required for the work location jurisdiction, prior to employment.
        • Pre-employment drug screening.
        • Must possess a current and valid CPR certification or obtain within the first 30 days of employment.

        • Minimum age is 18 years old, as a requirement for employment
        • Health screening, TB clearance, and valid CPR/First Aid, and criminal record clearance are required prior to employment.
