Position Summary This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Saddleback Medical Center. The employee shall support Saddleback Medical Center's strategic plan and participate in and advocate performance improvement/patient safety activities. The Project Admin Coordinator provides consulting and overall project management services from start to finish, supporting the Medical Directors, Clinical Director and Managers of the SMC Women's and Children's departments. The position applies knowledge of business and applications to research topics, investigates problems or questions, and provides necessary information and resolution. The Project Admin Coordinator manages some or all phases of one or more projects. They function as a key point of contact and are accountable for achieving satisfactory and positive outcomes. The Project Admin Coordinator prepares analytical reports and makes recommendations to management. They interface with finance, accounting, decision support, and other key departments to solve problems and manage projects. This position requires the ability to exercise independent judgment and to follow through on project assignments, maintain records, coordinate, and facilitate daily operations and ensure communication to all hospital contacts and the community. *Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
