JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Distribute locally printed and special handling check payments and related communications
* Follow-up with vendors and document due-diligence of outstanding and stale-dated check payments
* Post GRIR clearings as assigned
* Review and resolve GRIR balances as assigned
* Review and approve/deny payment date change requests
* Research and resolve outstanding credit memos
* Review Parked/Blocked invoices (reporting and follow-up as needed)
* Research and resolve vendor invoice/payment issues
* Help resolve ACH rejections and check payment issues
* Perform period end close requirements
* Assist with 1099 data collection, review, and submission

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Education: HS diploma; some college coursework preferred
* Experience with accounting in an office environment
* Experience level: 1 - 2 years of related experience
* Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables and VLookup);
* Ability to collaborate with other individuals and work teams; effective verbal and written communication skills
* Prefer someone with ERP experience; SAP experience would be a plus
* Proficient in Outlook and MS Word
* Can work independently but also work with others as issues arise
* Good math skills and detail-oriented
* Comfortable with repetitive work but can spot issues and trends and resolve them
* Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets in the workplace, as there are several dogs present on a regular basis
