Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

As the Medical Inventory Worker, you will deliver CHS medical equipment and electronic mobile devices, handling the procuring, receiving, inspecting, returning, distributing, maintaining, and disposing of materials supplies and equipment. Activities include handling medical supplies/mobile devices and utilizing inventory control information systems to track and update stock.

We Require

  • One year of related warehouse or inventory control experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • An equivalent combination of education and related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis

We Also Value

  • Two or more years of related warehouse or inventory control experience
  • Experience with CGI/Advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Job Contributions

  • Receives, reconciles, inventories, and sorts product deliveries
  • Delivers electronic mobile devices, interoffice mail, and medical supplies to CHS clinics and CHS
  • Administrative areas directly in the Maricopa County Jail system
  • Maintains the inventory of CHS' electronic devices and medical supplies
  • Audits and inventories appropriate clinical "medical supply" par levels directly in the Maricopa County Jails System
  • Manages "return to stock" and returns goods to the vendor promptly
  • Tracks supply stock distribution on computer-based inventory software
  • Maintains appropriate logs and records and performs various routine clerical functions as specifically instructed
  • Follows HIPAA guidelines, rules, and laws to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Maintains and operates County vehicle and delivers clinical medical supplies, records, interoffice mail, mobile devices and specimens as directed between the different Maricopa County Jail buildings
  • Assists in moving and setting up materials, equipment, and furniture, as appropriate to the requirements of the position (must be approved by supervisor)

Working Conditions

  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire
  • Works regularly in a standard office environment, requiring the ability to sit and perform duties on a computer for long periods
  • At times, may be required to work inside a jail or travel to work locations within a 5-mile radius
  • This position requires accurately handling a high volume of work and adapting to frequent changes, interruptions, and unscheduled tasks
  • Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check and maintain MCSO jail access
