Waste Connections is seeking a Scale Clerk to join our team at the landfill in Oakdale, LA. In this role, you'll be responsible for checking trucks in and out of the landfill and handling various basic administrative tasks. You will maintain regular communication with equipment operators and the management team. Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and organization are essential for success in this position. Pay: $17 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5% Paid vacation time Job Requirements: Typing speed of 40 words per minute Ten-key calculator proficiency by touch Excellent customer service skills Experience with Microsoft Excel Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
