*Description*
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Analyst in Madison, WI. This role is integral to ensuring our employees' technical needs are met efficiently and effectively. The Desktop Support Analyst will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving computer support issues, escalating problems when necessary, configuring, maintaining, and deploying desktops, and managing group policies (GPOs). The position requires adherence to established technical and procedural processes. *Key Responsibilities:* * Provide comprehensive support for desktop technologies, utilizing system management tools and various software services. * Troubleshoot and resolve computer support issues, escalating complex problems as needed. * Configure, maintain, and deploy desktops and related group policies (GPOs). * Provision devices for new users, including laptops and mobile devices. * Deliver support in a complex, professional technical environment, serving leadership, IT managers, and staff across the organization. * Operate independently while also collaborating closely with the help desk team. *Required Experience:* * Minimum of 4 years of experience in desktop technology, including: * Desktop operating systems (Windows 10 in an Enterprise environment) * Desktop applications and hardware * Standard troubleshooting methodologies *Preferred Experience:* * Strong written and verbal communication skills for responding to internal IT support tickets. * Knowledge of printing and other supported wireless devices and peripherals. * Experience with PowerShell scripting. * Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools. *Skills:* * Proficiency in Windows operating systems * End-user support * Hardware troubleshooting *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
