Creighton University in Omaha, NE is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven leader to serve as the inaugural Director of the Clinical Education Onboarding and Assistance Hub, a newly established initiative supporting clinical education across the health sciences.

This pivotal role will lead a cross-functional team of five and foster collaboration among academic departments, clinical partners, and administrative units to streamline compliance and contract management. The Director will play a central role in building relationships, shaping policies and procedures, and driving strategic initiatives that support faculty, staff, and students in clinical education environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the development, implementation, assessment, and management of department activities and committees.
  • Manage the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Collaborates with departments on compliance monitoring and accreditation requirements to proactively identify opportunities for enhancement and to mitigate institutional risk. Facilitates relationships with all academic and clinical partners while ensuring centralized communication.
  • Ensures all regulatory requirements are met. Oversees the auditing process and coordinates compliance efforts with the contracting team. Interprets lab results as needed.
  • Leads several advisory committees, engaging senior leadership and academic leaders in the coordination and priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; background in health science preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience working in compliance and or contracts.
  • Understanding medical terminology and professional healthcare licensure is highly desirable.
  • Must be highly skilled in developing relationships and managing a team.
  • Proficient in Office 365 suite and adaptability to technology platforms.
