From your PASSION to ours

Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Licensed Electrician based in Nampa, Idaho.

As a Licensed Electrician, you'll be part of our in-house Projects Team, working closely with our engineers and skilled trades crew. This team was created to complete a wide range of internal projects that help the company save costs and improve operations across the site. You'll collaborate with team members from our building, fabrication, and electrical crews to take on diverse and meaningful projects.

Projects include:

New building installations

Equipment installations and upgrades

Electrical system installations (motors, conveyors, lighting, control panels)

Assisting with pipe installation and other infrastructure work

This is a hands-on, team-oriented role where flexibility and a willingness to jump in wherever needed are key. As our facility grows, so does the complexity and scale of our projects-offering you the opportunity to grow your skills and take on new challenges.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

* Project Execution:

Collaborate with engineers to implement electrical aspects of capital and improvement projects.

Install and commission new equipment, control systems, and power distribution for production lines and facility infrastructure.

* System Integration:

Assist in integrating automation systems, PLCs, and instrumentation into existing operations.

Support electrical design modifications and panel builds based on engineering specs.

* Technical Support:

Provide hands-on electrical expertise during equipment trials, commissioning, and validations.

Offer input during project planning to ensure code compliance and practical implementation.

* Documentation & Compliance:

Interpret and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings.

Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and food industry safety standards.

* Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to minimize disruption during project work.

Participate in project meetings and provide field-level insights to improve design and execution.

Requirements

From your STORY to ours

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

* Valid Journeyman Electrician license (state-specific).

* Experience in industrial or food facility environments.

* Knowledge of PLC systems, VFDs, and automated machinery.

* Strong understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints.
