The Client Services Service Operations Excellence (Configuration) organization provides consultation, management, and maintenance of Visa's product and service settings to support Visa client systems and services, ensuring seamless integration, efficient transaction processing, and compliance with industry standards. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant to join our Service Operations Excellence Team. This role involves leading key initiatives to enhance and optimize our client configuration processes and tools. The Consultant will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement toolsets that support our clients' needs and drive continuous improvement in our service operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with project management experience, an analytical and strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in how products are developed and delivered. S/he will possess a unique combination of product expertise, problem solving ability, flexibility with rapid changes, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage key initiatives within the Service Operations Excellence team, concentrating on enhancing the client configuration process and tools.
- Develop, implement, and maintain advanced toolsets for internal and external clients to improve Visa's product and service configurations.
- Drive significant enhancements and optimizations to support efficient and effective client configuration processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, IT, and client services, to ensure seamless integration and efficient transaction processing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and Visa's internal policies and procedures.
- Provide expert consultation and support to clients and internal teams on complex configuration-related issues and best practices.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports, detailed analyses, and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Consult with various stakeholders to create optimal solutions that meet user requirements.
- Evaluate existing processes and tools and recommend improvements and new solutions (both buy and build) to enhance the product lifecycle and client onboarding/implementation experience.
- Work with partners to assess opportunities, determine scope, and define business requirements for new product features and enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business, product, technology, client services, commercialization, and other teams to design, build, and deliver best-in-class tools, both internally and externally.
- Support ongoing management of existing capabilities, managing enhancement requests, product roadmap, and user acceptance testing.
- Create and execute internal and external communications and training strategies to simplify onboarding and drive engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal Visa teams to define and execute a cohesive strategy related to a specific product or feature.
- Assist in the development, management, and tracking of metrics and KPIs. Produce reports, perform analysis, and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Help update, manage, and track global configuration documents.
- Support cross-regional coordination and execution of projects and strategic initiatives.
- Represent customer system and operational requirements to internal Visa organizations.

Basic Qualifications
-5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD - Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in service operations, configuration management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience and/or knowledgeable with Automation Tools like Power Automate.
- Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and their applications.
- Knowledge of other relevant software and programs that enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Customer-oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to engage with multiple stakeholders and build effective solutions that address client needs
- Prior product management, solutioning, or project management experience
- Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences in an approachable way
- Detail oriented and highly execution focused by working in conjunction with various counterparts across multiple functional groups
- Knowledge of payment systems (card networks, ACH, RTP, digital wallets), banking or funds/money movement
- Knowledge of training development, AI, and automation tools
- Ability to influence, negotiate and drive results, ensuring that timelines are adhered to and any risks to the project are called out early
- Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams effectively

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.
