General Summary of Position: The Assistant Coach of Men's and Women's Track and Field/Cross Country is responsible for leading all aspects of developing and managing a competitive Division I program within the parameters designated by the University, America East Conference and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Essential Job Duties: * Organizing, recruitment/evaluation of student-athletes 2. Assist with the management of administrative functions within the intercollegiate Track and Field/Cross Country program: * Participating in conference and NCAA meetings 3. Provide supervision and direction to the rest of the staff directly associated with program: * Supervising academic progress of the student-athletes 4. Serve as a University Ambassador by: * Engaging in fund-raising efforts for program Promote the University's commitment to customer service by: * Build effective partnerships with co-workers throughout the University by freely sharing appropriate information and providing assistance when needed.
