Genesis10 is seeking an OutSystems Low-Code Solution Engineer for a 6-month remote contract position with a leading client in Brooklyn, OH.

Compensation: $45-55 per hour W2.

Job Description:

The OutSystems Low-Code Solution Engineer is primarily responsible for creating and maintaining Low-Code (OutSystems) application standards and best practices while governing all related work within the platform. This role will be a part of the Low-Code Center of Excellence (CoE) and will drive the platforms framework in support of the client's enterprise vision.

The OutSystems Low-Code Solution Engineer will play a critical role in developing and implementing governance policies, standards, procedures and best practices through collaboration with cross-functional teams. We expect you to have a strong background in project management, web design, and data integrations, along with excellent analytical and communication skills. Success criteria include leveraging critical thinking, application expertise, and anticipation of business needs from our stakeholders resulting in robust applications that drive ease of use, benefits and overall positive client interactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the governance and management of the Low-Code application platform.
  • Create and maintain the Low-Code application standards and best practices.
  • Act as a liaison between Low-Code developers and related technology teams to document and detail out necessary components/requirements utilizing best practices.
  • Responsible for the management of all Low-Code IT risks and controls related to the application platform and underlying connections made.
  • Maintain ongoing training plan and related corporate communication on platform related items.
  • Establish rules and oversight for federated citizen developers.
  • Establish a regular cadence with Low-Code users to influence the user base and solicit feedback.
  • Utilize industry trends to influence requirements for new application features and enhancements that are consistent with strategic priorities.
  • Significantly contributes to the design process to ensure it supports business requirements and an optimized user experience.

  • Capture requirements for a highly complex system and/or multiple systems across multiple stakeholders; understands andapplies the SDLC to the execution of deliverables.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements considering multiple users, risks, and/or impact scenarios and convey with appropriate level of detail to the development team.
  • Apply expertise of the business and its trajectory and work with technical and business teams to support business objectives and align to the roadmap.
  • Work with QAS to develop project testing strategy. Support and/or participate in user acceptance testing to ensure quality in application releases and user experience.
  • Advises on security, risk management, and IT process principles and escalate to appropriate team(s) as needed. Partners effectively with security and risk teams to ensure tech portfolio changes adhere to standards.



Requirements:

  • Education/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience with preference to degress/roles in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required. Knowledge and experience in the financial services industry a plus.
  • 5+ years of knowledge and experience with standard project development/management methodologies and tools.
  • 2+ years of experience with functionality and framework on Low-Code enterprise applications such as OutSystems, Appian, and/or Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Familiarity with reactive web (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) and backend application integrations (SQL, DB2, Apigee)
  • Knowledge of web design principles, including navigation, usability, and accessibility.
  • Experience with data/application/integation management and governance.
  • Experience with creating and maintaining technical documentation, application best practices, and IT standards.
  • Assesses and coaches to strengths and developmental needs of project team members and direct reports. Shares knowledge, insights, and experiences to help others develop.
