Overview

The David D. Reh School of Business, AACSB accredited, seeks a candidate in the information systems area for a tenure-track position at the associate professor rank, to commence August 1, 2025. This position is to be held at our Potsdam, NY campus.

We seek a scholar with expertise in data analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence, who is committed to high quality teaching, impactful research, and meaningful service.

Candidates should demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching and scholarly research in fields including but not limited to machine learning applications, privacy and cybersecurity, IoT systems, and data governance.

Clarkson University values interdisciplinary collaboration and experiential learning. Faculty who engage in research and teaching that intersects with innovation, entrepreneurship, healthcare, engineering, or supply chain are especially encouraged to apply.



Responsibilities

Teaching responsibilities will focus on undergraduate and graduate courses in areas such as applied data analytics, application development, business intelligence, and machine learning.



Qualifications

Ph.D. in Information Systems or a closely related discipline and must demonstrate substantial experience teaching at the collegiate level
