How will you make an impact?

As a Senior Cost Accountant supporting our Corneal Health manufacturing operations, you'll play a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy, optimizing inventory controls, and enhancing cost accounting processes. Your contributions will directly support decision-making, strengthen audit readiness, and improve financial visibility across multiple departments. With your attention to detail and problem-solving mindset, you'll help drive process improvements and promote cross-functional collaboration, making a measurable impact on our operational efficiency and financial integrity.

What will you do?



  • Support monthly and quarterly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests and ensure SOX/audit compliance.
  • Reconcile and analyze inventory transactions, variances, and physical inventory across multiple sites.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to monitor inventory accuracy, aging, and obsolescence.
  • Lead or assist with costing activities including purchase price variance analysis, standard cost updates, and COGS reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain key financial schedules, prepaid tracking, supplier reconciliations, and invoice processing.
  • Participate in inventory improvement initiatives and support Oracle ERP optimization efforts.
  • Collaborate across departments to support ad hoc projects, reporting, and operational alignment.


How will you get here?



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Solid understanding of general accounting principles, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and large data set management.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory accounting, costing methodologies, and operational finance is highly preferred.
  • Proven time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
