ABOUT THIS ROLE

St. Michael's is hiring a Mid-Level Contract Administrator to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client. As a Mid-Level Contract Administrator, you will provide end-to-end contracting support services to our client. You will be in a client-facing role that will benefit from your leadership, program management experience, and expertise with the processes and systems used to support contracting services in the DoD. Our core value of Teamwork will be paramount to this role as you will work as a contributing member on a team of contracting administrators providing support in our client's contract services office.

Tuscon, AZ (on-site)

WHO YOU ARE



  • 6 or more years of contracting experience within a Federal Government Agency; with preferred experience in Department of Air Force contracting.
  • 2 or more years of experience at base level support; purchasing commercial supplies and services and minor construction.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis of technical and cost or pricing data.
  • DAWIA Contracting Professional or FAC-C certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field.



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Assist in preparation of file documentation applicable to competitive and noncompetitive procurements for Contracting Officer (CO) review and approval.
  • Assist in development and execution of approved acquisition strategies.
  • Provide advice, recommendations, research, and analysis to support Contracting Officer decisions regarding contractual issues.
  • Assist in development of evaluation criteria, track pre-award task order milestones and status, source selection plans, and award fee plans.
  • Construct agency reports and draft other legal correspondence/documents in response to protest actions or other claims against the agency.
