COLLECTION SUPERVISOR I Job Locations

Overview Under the supervision of the Site Manager / Manager of Mobile Operations / Field Supervisor / Assistant Manager, assumes responsibility for supervising the staff in collections at fixed and/or mobile sites. Monitors the collection activities to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures. Serves as resource for donor eligibility and phlebotomy complications. Responsible for meeting projected production goals. Delegates duties to staff; coordinates with mobile chairperson. Promotes positive image of CBC to community. Performs duties of Site Manager in their absence (fixed site CS only). Responsibilities Essential Functions:
Supervises blood collections at mobiles/fixed sites.
Must be able to confidently communicate and interpret intermediate information in English to all members of the public and CBC staff. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent - Must provide a copy of the transcript. Degree in Business or Biological Science preferred or equivalent experience. Phlebotomy experience preferred. (Willing to train phlebotomy skills.) Current CPR certification or obtain within six months of hire. Prefer an individual with at least 12 months experience in Blood collections, Phlebotomy and CBC, DA, AABB and OSHA regulations. Valid MO Class E Driver's License or KS Class C Driver's License with excellent driving history (if applicable). WORK HOURS AND DAYS VARY SO MUST BE VERY FLEXIBLE.
