ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Collaborates with distributors and their sales representatives in the field to expand distribution. * Educates, demonstrates, prospects, and closes or helps close deals with distribution and their reps. * Partners with Strategic Accounts in the territory. This may include surveying new facilities and making solution recommendations to grow Strategic Accounts through face-to-face interaction with BSC site managers, retail store managers, healthcare, and education customers. * Installs equipment through on-site training with customers. * Partners with distributors, Industrial counterparts, service, SA, and other channels of Tennant's business. * Manages channel conflict and day-to-day customer issues in the assigned territory. * Cleans and maintains company demo equipment, vehicle and trailer. * Manages, controls, and takes responsibility for assigned company demo inventory. * Executes sales strategy in the assigned geography as directed by the Commercial Market Manager. * Makes sales calls, cold calls, and customer calls (face-to-face, emails, and phone calls) on existing and new target accounts. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: * Bachelor's Degree or higher * Prior experience in the commercial or industrial cleaning industry Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $60,200 - 90,200 Annualized (+ $39000 Incentive for Sales) Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Sales and Service Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
