What You'll Do

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Cybersecurity Co-op to join our Information Technology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing antivirus software and patching vulnerabilities to ensure the security of our computer systems. This is a unique opportunity for a high school junior or senior in the Cyber Security program or a college student majoring in Cyber Security to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field.




  • Manage and maintain antivirus software for all company computer systems.
  • Identify and patch vulnerabilities in computer systems to prevent security breaches.
  • Monitor security alerts and respond to potential threats.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Information Security Specialist and IT team to ensure all systems are secure.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in cybersecurity and bring new ideas to the team.
  • Participate in regular security audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Information Security Specialist.



What You'll Bring



  • Currently enrolled in a high school Cyber Security program or a college majoring in Cyber Security.
  • Strong understanding of antivirus software and patch management.
  • Knowledge of security policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a part-time co-op position, with hours to be determined based on the student's schedule.
