This position is only open to current incumbents on the OMEE VII, Ft. Stewart, GA location. The Office Manager will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. The Office Manager is responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, office staff supervision and task delegation. Energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising office staff.
- Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll to include monitoring and recording leave, corresponding with corporate office on payroll issues and any employee issues, creating and routing various employee information changes, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
- Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
- Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
- Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments.
- Completes employee holiday schedule.
- Keeps management informed by completing and sending special reports; summarizing information.
- Maintains staff by recruiting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintains office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
- Achieves financial objectives by maintaining an annual budget, creating documentation of expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Assists with any timekeeping issues.

- Must maintain a valid state driver license
- Two to three years' experience in an office setting manager
- Proficient with office software
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience on OMEE contracts, specifically at Ft. Stewart location is preferred.
