Lexus of Akron/Canton is looking for a Parts Assistant (Full-Time)

The Parts Assistant will support the process to satisfy customer demands for Lexus and other vehicles by providing parts and services to customers that will exceed their expectations. This position is full-time/ 5 days a week and requires being available to work on Saturdays.

Job Responsibilities



  • Help operate a profitable, safe, and efficient state-of-the-art parts department.
  • Assist with inventory ensuring that the correct amount of parts are in stock.
  • Conduct duties to assist shipping and receiving including placing parts in inventory; entering parts into database; and monitoring inventory levels.
  • Conduct inventory counts, organize parts, parts shop cleanliness, and customer service (including answering customer calls when needed).
  • Delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, and vendors.
  • Purge warranty parts once claims are paid by Factory.
  • Assist Parts Department with the following duties:


    • Under the direction of the manager, order parts and accessories from Lexus and approved after-market suppliers.
    • Help locate parts and accessories; secure the best price; ensure proper quality.


  • Provide exceptional service to customers. Solve customer problems. Track customer satisfaction.
  • Work productively and safely.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). clothing, footwear, safety glasses, etc. Use shop equipment and tools safely.
  • Apply safety training, especially: First Aid/CPR; Fire Prevention; Preventing Slips and Falls, Proper Bending and Lifting, "Right to Know;" and Use of PPE.
  • Fully coordinate and communicate actions within Metro Lexus.
  • Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle consumer and customer data per applicable policies and procedures.
  • Review and follow data privacy practices, policies, and guidelines.
