Duties:
Responsible for collaborating with Application Teams to gather and analyze business requirements; develop comprehensive Infrastructure Designs tailored to organizational needs; responsible for provisioning of virtual and physical machines by generating build sheets and deployment through Portals; ensure efficient resource allocation; facilitate seamless application integration into CI/CD pipelines; use tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Celestial, and XLR to optimize deployment workflows; create templates for components, inventory, extra variables, and user groups within Ansible Tower; streamline access and enhanced operational efficiency; execute installation and configuration of Redis Enterprise Edition; conduct detailed analysis of onboarding requirements (Shards, Clustering) for accurate Database Sizing; provide end-to-end support for NO-SQL Databases (Redis/Mem-SQL); responsible for Shard equilibrium and perform proactive maintenance (OS Patch management); lead multiple projects within Redis Enterprise; responsible for release schedules and resolving production issues promptly; utilize Redis, Cassandra, MEM-SQL, PEGA, Appian, F5, Jacl, Jython, Python, BMC Bladelogic, Puppet, and Ansible to perform duties; orchestrate the upgrade process for Redis Database; spearhead the creation of GEO-Replication Clusters within Redis Enterprise Edition for enhanced data redundancy and disaster recovery; responsible for monthly Red Hat Linux upgrade patches to address hardware and software vulnerabilities; automate the installation and configuration of middleware products using NSH Scripts and Jobs within BladeLogic; collaborate closely with vendors (Pega, Appian, MEM-SQL) to onboard new applications into the memory database system; provision servers to support infrastructure and contribute to design architecture; and perform advanced setups through subsequent levels (Dev/SE/QA, PROD) to meet evolving business requirements.
Location: New York, NY and various unanticipated locations throughout the US; Salary: $162,240 per year (standard benefits apply); Minimum Qualifications: Education: Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as an Infrastructure Engineer, as a Middleware Engineer, as a Network Engineer, as a Programmer/Analyst, as a Software Engineer, as a Systems Engineer, or in a related occupation; Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years' use of all the following: Redis, Cassandra, MEM-SQL, PEGA, Appian, F5, Jacl, Jython, Python, BMC Bladelogic, Puppet, and Ansible. Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
