Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join a dynamic product strategy team within a leading platform-based organization. In this role, you will play a key part in connecting product feature releases to customer behavior and outcomes by transforming complex data into actionable insights. Partnering with enterprise data teams, you will help unify disparate data sources, develop impactful dashboards, and drive data-informed decisions that enhance user engagement and satisfaction across the platform.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Work closely with enterprise data teams to collect, clean, and integrate data from diverse sources to create a consolidated, reliable data stream that informs key business decisions.
  • Build interactive and visually engaging Tableau dashboards that highlight platform usage trends, customer engagement, and feature adoption across various user personas.
  • Establish and analyze rolling usage metrics aligned with customer personas to monitor platform engagement throughout the academic year.
  • Investigate the relationships between product activities and user behavior to identify what truly drives engagement and adoption.
  • Translate complex data into digestible visuals and insights for non-technical audiences, adhering to best practices in design and storytelling.
  • Uphold data accuracy, integrity, and security by adhering to governance protocols and ensuring compliance with internal standards.
  • Continuously evaluate analytical approaches and propose enhancements to improve data quality, efficiency, and insights delivery.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, with a strong track record of integrating and analyzing data across multiple systems.
  • Strong expertise in Tableau, SQL, and dbt is required.
  • Skilled in interpreting complex data sets, identifying trends, and delivering clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong focus on data accuracy, quality, and consistency.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Informatica, AWS (Redshift, Athena), and Nexus Pro are preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Power BI, Python, or JSON is a plus.
