Responsibilities The OHH Revenue Cycle Project Specialist will report to the Quality & Performance Manager, and is responsible for tracking and facilitating improvement initiative projects within the department. The Project Specialist will work with operational leaders and stakeholders to establish timelines and track critical steps within a project. They will direct accountability by working with internal and external teams on delivery expectations to see initiatives through to completion. They will assist with all vendor onboarding and work closely with IT application owners and department managers to help communicate critical information between parties. They will be a key liaison to all vendors to help track and route escalations to the appropriate party as needed. Assists stakeholders by tracking requirements for new vendor onboarding, including all IT, personnel, and workflow components. Consolidates and presents monthly project status review to Business Office Director and other operational leaders. Ensures Master Service Agreement and Addendums are current and on file. Helps validate any vendor reporting metrics and invoices prior to payments. Works with RCM Trainer and vendor leaders to ensure all vendor employees are properly trained. Facilitates tip sheets and SOPs for each vendor's operations as needed. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma Experience: Three (3) years job related experience in healthcare required; minimum of two (2) years in revenue cycle leadership. Knowledge and hands on experience of RCM outsource vendors, to include BPOs and global organizations is preferred. Contracting knowledge strongly desired. Working Knowledge: Windows based operating systems preferred. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Medical terminology and medical insurance knowledge preferred. Knowledge of end-to-end RCM metrics and workflows. Must be able to lead audit and education programs for contracted services.
