Inside the Role

We are seeking a skilled Network and Security Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's network infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal network performance, security, and availability while managing a team of network professionals. The ideal candidate will have expertise in networking technologies, architecture, troubleshooting, and leadership.

The Network and Security Manager oversees network operations (Enterprise and Automation) and planning for Canada, USA and Mexico along with the management of external supporting providers. This person is responsible for planning, developing, maintaining and taking care of end of life for networks. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a global open mindset.

You are results driven, well versed in cutting-edge IT Technology and innovations and has the ability to evaluate new technologies, testing and adopting the best ones that fulfil business needs. Also, this person has solid experience enabling outsourcing operations and at the same time taking care that the current operations fulfill the established SLA's. Experience in strategically restructuring and evolving Infrastructure Operations areas is a must. Must be customer oriented and experienced working with multiple projects while keeping IT operations running in a controlled and smooth way. They should be able to prioritize their activities and assign the right task to the right people.

Position offers a starting salary range of$144,000.00 - $184,000.00 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Monitor network performance, identifying and resolving issues to maintain up-time.
  • Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
  • Ensure network security by managing firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
  • Conduct regular assessments to optimize network performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to support infrastructure projects and cloud integrations.
  • Develop policies and procedures for network management and security compliance.
  • Manage vendor relationships for network equipment, services, and upgrades.
  • Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and administrators.
  • Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and trends to enhance infrastructure.
  • Lead and develop a team with passion and share common people goals
  • Must have strong experience of managing external providers for delivering the best service quality and on the agreed SLA's
  • Ensure effective monitoring, maintenance, and administration of the Network infrastructure for 100+ sites (offices, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and dealers)
  • Ensures a smooth transition of services to a managed services provider making sure they fit the business needs.
  • Assisting in implementing service methodologies including incident management, problem management, change management, capacity management
  • Multimillion budget management experience
  • Must have experience with outsourcing operating models sharing accountabilities and responsibilities across teams.
  • Acts as an escalation point and help to manage incidents until resolution.
  • It is required to have experience on building or restructuring IT Infrastructure areas
  • Oversee coordination and communication with the various manufacturing plants to provide effective support on a day-to-day basis, while performing changes and/or while upgrading infrastructure components
  • Ensure maintenance of effective 24/7 plant DC and NW operations
  • Ensure effective coordination with multiple application teams for implementing projects or accomplishing new demands.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or similar, from an accredited college/university and 10+ years of related experience.
  • 5 years of experience managing Network areas using Cisco technologies
  • 5 years of leadership experience at different technical levels
  • Must have good knowledge of Service Management frameworks and familiarity with ITIL
  • Must have strong experience of managing vendors and MSP's
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business and technical issues
  • Strong background in performing organizational change management
  • Experience in budget management
  • Track record of improving complex processes and technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term provider relationships
  • Strong creative thinking abilities
  • Ability to motivate a team of employees with diverse skill sets and backgrounds
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels
  • An attached resume is required

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Cisco certifications are preferred (CCNA, CCT, etc)
