Position Summary
The Remote Engagement Sales Representative is responsible for achieving targeted sales goals and objectives by engaging healthcare professionals (HCPs) via phone and online channels to promote assigned client product(s). This role involves maximizing the product(s)' selling potential and meeting program objectives through developing and maintaining relationships with HCPs and key decision-makers.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage daily sales activity according to defined expectations to influence customers and increase product sales.
  • Educate HCPs and staff virtually about medication features, benefits, safety profile, and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use.
  • Promote Company's Product(s) via digital engagements with assigned HCP targets in in-depth discussions to attain individual, territory, and company goals for sales and market share.
  • Maintain call productivity and metrics required by the program.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of company product(s) and program.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in our CRM system.
  • Prepare reports for management as needed.
  • Fully comply with all laws, regulations, and Amplity and company's health policies, code of conduct, all privacy and data guidelines, and relevant state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Participate in national, regional, and district meetings, training sessions, and represent the client at national and/or local conventions when applicable.
  • Other duties as needed.

Education, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience required.
  • Specialty pharmaceutical experience preferred.
  • Virtual sales experience.
  • Ability to successfully work remotely and manage time effectively.
  • Track record of sales success.
  • Excellent clinical acumen and learning agility.
  • Strong verbal, written, and impactful communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus and integrity.
  • High-level selling, persuasion, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Elevated levels of initiative, resilience, and drive for results.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical/medical terminology and maintain the required technical expertise, including competitive product knowledge.
  • Effective collaboration skills, able to work independently and as a team member.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and meeting platforms.
  • Willingness to travel to company meetings and training.
  • Must successfully pass all Amplity, client, and product training as required.

Credentialing Requirements:

As a representative of a pharmaceutical company, you may be required to submit and maintain credentials, such as training, vaccinations, and other job-related documentation to gain access to hospitals or healthcare providers. It is the Company's expectation that you comply with the requirements outlined by the facilities on your call plans.

Additionally, certain geographic jurisdictions or hospital systems have requirements to apply for and obtain a representative license. At this time, representatives working in the District of Columbia, City of Chicago, State of Nevada, State of Oregon, or those associated with Jackson Memorial Health in Miami-Dade County Florida may be required to obtain specific licenses. This list may be subject to change, including the potential for additions or modifications. In the event of any significant changes, you will be notified accordingly.
