Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a supporting role for the department and the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist primarily serves to support the recruitment and onboarding process plus other administrative and clerical duties including but not limited to: Coordinating recruitment efforts with hiring managers, scheduling appointments, and generating reports, proofreading/editing job postings, working with applicants both electronically and in person, schedule new hires for orientation, and other duties as assigned. Attention to detail and effective communication with leaders, employees, and applicants is essential.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Monitor and evaluate market trends to make decisions and negotiate and re-negotiate contract rates for each job profile posting to ensure fiscal responsibility with contract labor.
  • Coordinate, consult, and oversee interviewing, offer, onboarding, credentialing, and termination of contract and contingent labor to ensure practices are in line with Monument Health standards and regulating agencies.
  • Collaboration and partnership with Workforce Optimization for contract labor/Regular FTEs to provide analysis of data for decision making for position requests.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with caregivers, supply vendors and leadership.
  • Proofread, title and post approved job descriptions for vacancy needs.
  • Coordinate start dates with recruiters, hiring leaders, contract labor and staffing vendors.
  • Monitor and oversee invoices for all contract and contingent labor. Coordinate with supply vendor, hiring leader and Accounts Payable. Collaborate with key players to resolve discrepancies with invoices and timecards.
  • Compile and analyze data on current recruitment metrics, future contracts, and contingent labor to report to the executive teams.
  • Monitor and coordinate with caregivers, staffing vendors, hiring leaders and labor to facilitate start, conversion and end dates for contract and applicable permanent caregivers.
  • Ensure contract and contingent labor are entered appropriately to the applicant tracking and record keeping systems.
  • Monitor compliance training requirements, and ensure credentialing is completed in accordance with organizational and regulatory agencies. Onboarding will include oversight of clearing health, credentialing, and background screenings.
  • Assists all applicants and responds promptly to applicants' requests for information.
  • Assists in sourcing qualified candidates to manage a strong candidate pipeline to fill vacancies and projected needs.
  • Advises candidates in career development, offers advice, and provides insight into an appropriate position match. Identifies resources to help candidates achieve desired positions.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events, recruitment fairs, career fairs, and healthcare events. Travel outside of the area should be expected.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements

Required:

Education - High School Diploma/ GED Equivalent

Preferred:

Experience - 2+ years of Recruiting Experience; 2+ years Healthcare Experience

Education - Bachelors degree

Physical Requirements: Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
