Could you be the full-time onsite Field Service Engineer in Camden, NJ, US we're looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and analytical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of critical equipment and systems. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Quality Assurance, Contract Administration, Purchasing, and Storeroom), provide troubleshooting assistance and technical analysis, and contribute to process improvements, procedure revisions, and much more.

We'll look to you for:




  • Providing technical support for process improvements, failure analysis, and component repair and overhauls,



  • Assisting in revising procedures and addressing nonconforming parts dispositions,



  • Collaborating with Alstom engineering to resolve fleet and infrastructure issues,



  • Supporting contract administration in forecasting costs for component overhauls and replacements,



  • Preparing specifications for new components and approving alternatives from OEM and non-OEM suppliers,



  • Updating equipment manuals and other controlled documents as changes are implemented,



  • Working in a dynamic environment with various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Degree in engineering, technical field, or equivalent experience,



  • Hands-on experience in heavy industry maintenance in rail, marine, naval, aerospace, or similar fields,



  • Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and failure analysis,



  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel),



  • Ability to work in dynamic environments and adapt to various shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays),



  • Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, and manuals,



  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Base Salary Range: 98,000 - 105,000 USD
