About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Talent, you will play an integral part in supporting talent acquisition and employee experience across an assigned region. The HR Generalist serves as a key connection ensuring a seamless experience through the employee lifecycle-from hiring and onboarding to offboarding and everything in between. This position will have hybrid/remote flexibility, with the ideal candidate joining us in one of our offices in Washington, Oregon, California, or Illinois.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Support

  • Partner with hiring managers to facilitate job postings and applicant tracking through the ATS
  • Ensure timely hiring manager notifications and process follow-through
  • Coordinate pre-employment steps in collaboration with the Talent team

Onboarding & Orientation

  • Schedule and coordinate new hire onboarding activities and host orientation sessions
  • Act as a liaison between new hires, hiring managers, and internal departments to ensure a smooth onboarding experience

Employee Lifecycle Transactions

  • Process and track employee change notices in coordination with our HR Business Partners
  • Support offboarding processes including exit interviews, system access, and documentation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation

Employee Relations & HR Programs

  • This role will gain exposure to and support with employee relations matters in collaboration with senior HR team members
  • Contribute to HR programs such as Learning & Development, engagement, and other initiatives
  • Assist in policy implementation and day-to-day HR operations
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or coordinator capacity
  • Familiarity with ATS and HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now a plus)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
  • A collaborative mindset and a customer service orientation

Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $80,000-$90,000.

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. Our compensation structure prioritizes transparency and internal pay equity.
