What is the opportunity?

The Client Experience Consultant (CEC) is responsible for delivering comprehensive account servicing in a team-based model for RBC Advantage clients. The CEC will provide sales support, facilitate securities transactions, and deliver financial education, primarily in response to inbound calls. In addition, representatives will identify sales opportunities during conversations with clients and look to establish account review/needs based meetings with an RBC Advantage Financial Advisor.

What will you do?

  • Responding tointernal/external clientinquiries and delivering appropriate information or referring to appropriate function or people.
  • Educating customers on the usage of products/services of RBC Wealth Managementand on additional available benefits and services.
  • Handling inbound calls from customers, answering inquiries and providingaccurate information to customers.
  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing a speedy and thorough resolution to customer needs.
  • Be initial contact for RBC Advantage Wealth Management client inquiries, look to set client account reviewappointments with and RBC Advantage Financial Advisor.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years financial services experience
  • Knowledge of investments, the markets and regulatory policies and procedures
  • Series 7, Series 66 or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire

Nice-to-have

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong inter-personal skills with that ability to build relationships and work effectively with a wide range of personal styles
  • Analytical, problem-solving and computer skills (Excel, Internet Explorer, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, managing multiple demands and competing priorities

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $50,000 - $85,000, depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
