Position Summary: At CCA, Business Intelligence (BI) provides key decision support to CCA executives and leadership. The BI department is led by the Senior Vice President, Business Intelligence and managed through a matrix-management environment. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with many team members to bring actionable data and insights into the broader organization. Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, this role will lead single BI engagements, creating product design mock-ups and writing development instructions. Business Intelligence is the gateway to data-driven decisions and this role will help us build the evidence and rationale for important organizational programs. Supervision Exercised:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete the full lifecycle of BI engagements, from project ideation to project delivery
- Present data projects to the business during BI Engagements
- Identify key finding in data projects and translate into business implications and areas of opportunity
- Design and monitor end-user reporting tools and systems
- Condense large data sets into clear and concise observations and recommendations including reports, dashboards and visualization paradigms
- Design advanced conceptual, logical, and physical data organizations, models, repositories, dashboards, and reports within a complete functional and technical architecture
Working Conditions:
- Standard office conditions. May require some travel between worksite locations
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree required
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years' experience required; health insurance industry experience preferred
- Background in health care analytics or business intelligence
- Experience working in a Matrix-Managed environment
Desired Experience:
- Health insurance industry experience preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to communicate business and technical information to people of various backgrounds
- Project management expereince
- Programing language skills
- Strong knowledge of care management and healthcare industry practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Initiative, work ethic, ambition, and an appetite for challenging and often unstructured assignments.
