Compensation

$103,860-$126,940 Depending on Experience

Job Summary

As a Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing our HR and Payroll systems across North America. You will provide expert-level support for JDE HCM modules, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and drive the expansion of our HR and Payroll applications. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with a strong customer service mindset and a passion for optimizing business processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business users to understand system needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Analyze, design, and update JDE interactive applications, batch applications, and system integrations.
  • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Lead and manage projects aimed at improving HR and Payroll processes and systems.
  • Participate in system testing, training, and deployment activities.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within the HRIS landscape.
  • Assist in system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports using tools such as ReportsNow.
  • Ensure data integrity, compliance, and system efficiency across US and Canadian operations.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for enterprise applications, including JD Edwards and integrated systems.
  • Deliver timely and high-quality support to internal stakeholders, maintaining a strong focus on customer service.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, user access problems, and data discrepancies.
  • Document support procedures, system configurations, and user guides.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, implement enhancements, and support integration between JD Edwards and other business applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional domains daily to maintain positive communication/interaction
  • Maintain knowledge of IT best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with JD Edwards (JDE) HCM modules.
  • Proven track record of leading HRIS or Payroll system projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of North American payroll regulations and HR practices, with hands-on experience supporting Canadian payroll systems and compliance, particularly in Quebec.
  • Ability to write and understand SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with system testing, training, and deployment.
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing or engineering industry, preferred.
  • Familiarity with ReportsNow, OnBase, QSoftware Security Manager, or similar tools, preferred.
Professional Skills
  • JD Edwards (JDE) HCM Expertise: Deep understanding of modules like Payroll, Time and Labor, PDBAs, and Benefit Administration.
  • HRIS/Payroll Systems Knowledge: Ability to manage, support, and enhance HR and payroll applications.
  • Project Management: Experience leading system improvement and implementation projects.
  • Business Process Analysis: Skill in identifying inefficiencies and designing optimized workflows.
  • Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards in HR/payroll data.
  • Strong analytical thinking to troubleshoot system issues and identify root causes.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Attention to detail in system configuration and data validation.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset, not required.

  • US | Hybrid role, 3 days remote work allowed.
