Hourly Pay Range:

$42.54 - $65.94 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Manager, Patient Experience - Days

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Manager, Patient Experience
  • Location: Arlington Heights, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00a.m.-4:30p.m.
  • Required Travel: no

What you will do:

  • Develops, implements, monitors and supports a patient centered strategy that establishes and continually improves the overall patient, family and visitor experience.
  • Communicates and provides insights on the patient/family perspective and concerns to hospital personnel. Identifies, develops and implements programs and tools to increase the awareness and improve the skills of staff related to patient satisfaction and complaint resolution.
  • Identifies and recommends solutions to impact quality of care and patient safety related to the patient experience.
  • Works with NCH Administrative Leaders and Board Members on approved performance plans and strategic priorities.
  • Provides direction, as necessary, to staff regarding sensitive and/or complex related problems, resolves complaints and responds to inquiries regarding department operations.
  • Identifies opportunities and develops solutions to improve patient satisfaction.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred, in healthcare, education, business or related field.
  • Certification: n/a
  • Experience: 7 years of progressive customer experience, patient experience and/or service excellence and knowledge
  • Unique or Preferred Skills: Comfortability with challenging conversations with patients in person or by phone. Exceptional interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills. Exceptional leadership skills and a hands-on visible approach with staff and Executive interaction.
